In 2023, the Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular was as big as ever, with five barges full of explosive splendor putting on a show from the East River in NYC.

The 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular from New York City was in full force as the nation’s largest Independence Day fireworks show. More than 50,000 pounds of fireworks are launched from the Brooklyn Bridge and from barges on the East River every year. Television cameras once again captured the show from Brooklyn Bridge Park.
