Celebrating America’s Working People

Labor Day is September 2, 2019

Labor Day has come to represent many things: the end of summer, the last day most pools are open for the year, and the close of hot dog season; not to mention a debate about whether or not white should be worn after the first Monday in September. <gasp!>

American Stick Flags from LIBERTY FLAGS

Since the first demonstration and picnic held by the Labor Union of New York in New York City on September 5, 1882, Labor Day recognizes and celebrates the American labor movement and the contributions that workers have made to the strength, prosperity, laws, and well-being of the country.

American Pride, American-Made

In 1982, 100 years after the first Labor Day celebration, Art Zakharian followed his own American Dream and founded LIBERTY FLAGS based on his determination that every American Flag he sold would be American-made. In this, he not only honored the American Flag but also the American workers for which it stands. From the Small Flag you will wave in a parade over the weekend, to the Outdoor American Flag you fly in front of your business or home, you can own a sense of pride knowing that every American Flag sold by Liberty Flags is American-made and is always fully guaranteed to be so.

Cheers to You!

On Labor Day, remember that it is the American workers who have built this great nation from the ground up. Labor Day is a day to celebrate the time and hard work put in by you, your neighbor, your friends and family, and your fellow Americans. What better way is there to celebrate Labor Day than by flying an American made American Flag?
