Remembering 9/11

On September 11, 2001, terrorists perpetrated one of the most horrifying violent plots against Americans on American soil, successfully carrying out attacks in New York City and Washington D.C..

In the 15 years since, Americans, survivors, responders, and the families of victims have all sought to recover the peace that Americans envisioned prior to that day. Several nonprofit organizations have formed to help provide support to those in need during this ongoing healing process. One such organization is the Voices of September 11th.

LIBERTY FLAGS, The American Wave® is honored to add the Voices of September 11th flags to our offerings — The Flag of Honor and The Flag of Heroes. Both flags can be found here.

The Flag of Honor

The Flag of Honor is the first of two flags created by the Voices of September 11.

The following thoughts are imprinted upon the flag: "This flag is created from the names of those who perished in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 and February 26, 1993. Now and forever it represents their immortality. We shall never forget them"

The Flag of Heroes

The Flag of Heroes is the second of two flags created by the 501(c)3 nonprofit organization Voices of September 11.

The following thoughts are imprinted upon the flag: "This flag is created from the names of the emergency services personnel who gave their lives to save others in the terrorist attacks of 9/11. Now and forever it represents their immortality - We shall never forget them"

Voices of September 11

The organization was founded by the surviving parents of Brad Fetchet, who, at 24 years of age, was killed in the terrorist attack on 9/11.

LIBERTY FLAGS is pleased to offer a portion of the proceeds from the sale of these flags on our website to support the Voices of September 11th organization, whose mission is to promote awareness about the long-term needs of victims' families, responders and survivors.
